Sometimes you just need a little extra power. The WEN 56200i 2000W inverter generator provides that power and is a viable alternative to the popular Honda EU2000i. Testing from a distance of 22 feet gives the following volume results.

The WEN 2000W generator comes with both low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown controls. It also has an overload protection safeguard. This will protect your machine and whatever you’ve connected to it from damage.
You can plug and unplug items from the generator’s outlets at will, and the generator will adjust its output accordingly via the “Eco-Mode Throttle”. This feature has the additional benefit of conserving fuel.

Verdict on the WEN 2000 Watt Generator
While there’s nothing especially fantastic about the WEN generator, there’s nothing especially terrible about it either. If for whatever reason you don’t like Honda, this is virtually the same machine in a different color and should serve you well for any of the purposes mentioned above or anything else you can dream up.
Many hundreds – actually, thousands – of satisfied owners have shared their positive reactions to the WEN 2000. One long-time user says, “Starts on first or second pull every time.” The only drawback mentioned is that you need to change the oil every 25-35 hours or so, but that’s easy to do.
A caution is that you shouldn’t leave fuel in it (unused) for over a month, or you may need to look for a new carburetor.
